By Avian from Columbus,OH on 06/27/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Compact, Stable Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational What Is Your Gear Style: Comfort Driven Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: The compact construction allows minimal body surface contact so it was cooler than my previous verticle bottle pack. I had no trouble with it at all and recommend it for this sport.
By Giselle the Beginner Runner from Brooklyn, NY on 06/19/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Easy To Refill, Good Water Flow, Large Capacity Best Uses: Extended Hikes, Running Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational What Is Your Gear Style: Comfort Driven Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: All is great except that the adjustments for the waist is still too loose (I'm petite) even at it's smallest diameter. I like how it cradles all my standard water bottles too.
By thirsty jogger from Menomonie, WI on 06/19/2008 Pros: Easy To Refill, Good Water Flow, Highly Adjustable Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational What Is Your Gear Style: Minimalist Bottom Line: Comments: the padding is great it seems to fit and be adjustable, but once you start running it moves around and bounces. It took me a while to figure out you have to wear it on your hips not the waist. At the waist it bounces all over. Maybe better suited for men.
By SteveF from Eatontown,NJ on 06/10/2008 Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer What Is Your Gear Style: Minimalist Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I am very surprised by the other reviews concerning this water pack. It is very unstable in terms of shaking (and I had the belt on very tight). This (in my opinion) is unusable for running.
By Flowergds from Edgewood, NM on 06/02/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Easy To Refill, Good Water Flow, Stable Best Uses: Day Trips, Running Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational What Is Your Gear Style: Comfort Driven Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Very nice pack, easy to carry.
By SteveF from Eatontown, NJ on 06/01/2008 Cons: Bulky, Poor Construction, Unstable Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: This water belt simply does not work. I put it on very tight and the bottle was still shaking a lot (this was while running). After about 100 yards I need to take off the belt. It seems to be OK for walking but I would just use a small backpack in that case. Please do not buy this product.
By rugger 13 from Arkansas on 05/19/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Easy To Refill, Good Water Flow, Stable Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer What Is Your Gear Style: Minimalist Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: THe belt and bottle holder are great, but the bottle leaks.
By bag 77 from Chicago, ILlinois on 05/15/2008 Pros: Easy To Refill, Stable Best Uses: Extended Hikes, Travel Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational What Is Your Gear Style: Minimalist Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Belt is very small.
It would have cost an extra .0005 cents to extend the belt adjustment.
I'm not a fatty. My waist is 34" and it will not fit over pants or a coat.
If you are a biker and wearing only lycra shorts, it will sit on top of a shorts waist and only if your waist is 34" or less.
Quality product for the price By Hipfan from Sonora, CA on 04/22/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Functions as designed, Stable Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer What Is Your Gear Style: Minimalist Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: The hydration belt is comfortable and has minimal bounce. Withdrawing and replacing the water bottle while at a running pace is easy (with a little practice). The valve is made from soft rubber, which is nice if you jam it into your teeth while running. The small zip pouch is handy for gel packs and/or key(s). I don't think it would fit snug on a person with a waist size smaller than 30". This is a quality product at a price that can't be beat.
Outstanding product / Unbeatable price By TTH fan from Sonora, CA on 04/18/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Functions as designed, Highly Adjustable, Stable Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer What Is Your Gear Style: Minimalist Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Excellent hydration belt for longer distance runs. It is comfortable and stable while running. Withdraw and replace water bottle while at a running pace with ease (with minimal practice). Small zip pouch for holding gel packs. The valve is soft rubber, which helps when bringing the bottle to your mouth while running, in case you jam it into your teeth. Product info states that the belt will fit waist size down to 24" but I doubt it would be snug for a waist smaller than 30". Excellent price for a quality product!
