By Kevin from Louisville, KY on 11/25/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Durable, Lightweight, Stylish, Warm Best Uses: Cold Weather, Hiking and Camping Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Everything is great. The collar is a bit stiff on the zipper side, maybe due to the chest pocket as well. It sticks straight up and brushes my jaw constantly- just a little annoying, thats all. If you zip it all the way up that doesn't happen.
By sewnsurg from Kansas City on 11/25/2008 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Durable, Lightweight, Warm, Windproof Best Uses: Cold Weather, Hiking and Camping, Wet Weather Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This jacket is outstanding. Lightweight, yet durable, warm and waterproof. I bought it for cold water biking and it is perfect for that, for shoveling the snow, etc.
By JEFFRO! from Indiana, PA on 11/25/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Lightweight, Waterproof Cons: Mesh Pockets not warm Best Uses: Casual Wear, Hiking and Camping, Wet Weather Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This jacket is really nice. It has taped zippers, and enough room for me to layer my MH monkey man jacket underneath. Looks good on its own too. Only beef is the mesh side pockets do not offer any warmth. The air just comes up through the bottom and penetrates the mesh pockets. If you have gloves on, then there wouldn't be a problem. Everything else is great! I would definitely recommend this to anyone.
By NC from San Jose, CA on 11/25/2008 Pros: Lightweight, Stylish, Warm Best Uses: Casual Wear, Cold Weather Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Chest Size: Feels too small Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Light weight, look and feel good.
Nice Jacket, sized too big By Too Skinny for this Coat from Richland, WA on 11/25/2008 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Durable, Lightweight, Warm, Windproof Best Uses: Casual Wear, Cold Weather, Hiking and Camping, Skiing/Snowboarding Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I bought this for backcountry skiing. Unfortunately it was too big. I am 6'2 and mostly trim. The sleeves were a bit long (but they worked just fine), but the front of the jacket and the zipper bowed out because there was too much fabric. I would've loved to try a medium, because it was a great deal on a nice softshell.
