It seems extremely well made. I usually wear a large, but I went by the measurement guidelines provided by Sierra in the item description and ordered a medium. It fit perfectly. I am impressed with the quality of this jacket and look forward to testing it out.

By Wife of Happy Hubby from Rochester, NY on 11/20/2008 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Lightweight, Pit Zips Best Uses: Skiing/Snowboarding Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Hubby wanted a soft shell ski jacket. However, Hubby tends to get too warm in these jackets due to lack of ventilation. This shell has pit zips. Just what Hubby wanted. The color was even better than pictured. The price could not be beat either!

Great buy on a quality jacket By ratherbe from Victoria BC on 11/11/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Durable, Stylish, Warm Best Uses: Casual Wear, Cold Weather, Extreme Conditions, Hiking and Camping, Wet Weather Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: So far I haven't used this for any intense activities, so can't comment much on breathability. However, it is highly water resistant, appears to be high quality construction and materials, and does have pit zips. Looks great as well. As a minor issue it could use softer material around the inner collar. Have used it mainly for casual wear and camping thus far.
At this price I may get another.

Nice jacket, but not perfect. By Jo from Indianapolis on 05/04/2008 Pros: Lightweight, Warm, Waterproof Cons: Haven't had it long enoug Best Uses: Casual Wear, Extreme Conditions, Hiking and Camping, Wet Weather Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Collar doesn't fold down easily, but the height is okay. You can feel the itchy waterproof zippers on my forearms. Fits a little bigger than I would have thought. A large is a BIG large.
Other than that it's a sweet jacket. Comfortable, warm, waterproof, light. High-tech awesome.
Excellent, super water-repellent jacket By gmoney from Flagstaff, AZ on 04/25/2008 Pros: Breathable, Durable, Lightweight, Waterproof Best Uses: Cold Weather, Extreme Conditions, Hiking and Camping, Wet Weather Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This jacket is not an athletic fit, but fits rather baggy and I'm right in the middle of size M. I can wear multiple layers under it comfortably; ex: t-shirt, long sleeve and lightweight fleece. But, also looks and protects well with just a t-shirt.
