By LJM the runner from Boulder CO on 12/22/2008 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Durable, Lightweight, Waterproof Best Uses: Casual Wear, Hiking and Camping Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Chest Size: Feels too small Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: GoLite makes great stuff, but their sizing seems a bit erratic. The 2007
lines were cut shorter and smaller (women's). The 2008 jackets ( as they
become available) should be a truer fit. I am a runner and love the lightweight and high quality. So, I highly recommend their stuff if you can get the right fit!
By Runs with beer from Klamath Falls, Or on 06/20/2008 Pros: Breathable, Lightweight, Lots of Pockets, Waterproof, Wind Resistant Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Received this jacket the night before a two week trek in Alaska. It runs small, I ordered a lrg. hoping it would not be too big. Good thing I did. Great color. Warm enough for light rain, real warm over a sweatshirt. Stayed dry in a down pour! Packs well.
Not a good fit, bad zipper By Erin from Syracuse, NY on 06/02/2008 Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Chest Size: Feels too small Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I was really excited to get this jacket. Unfortunately, it rang true to the complaints I had read in other reviews. I am very petite (5'1" and 105 pounds). It was too tight across the hips, too short to wear alone in a rainstorm, and the zipper pulled apart when I was trying it in front of the mirror. I want a jacket that I can use both hiking and running. This one is too tight across the chest and not long enough.
By Husdon Valley Hiker from Cornwall on Hudson, NY on 05/30/2008 Pros: Breathable, Durable, Lightweight, Waterproof Best Uses: Hiking British Columbia Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Chest Size: Feels too small Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: After reading all reviews I ordered a size Large even though I am a size 4. I wanted to be able to wear this over several layers of hiking clothes. Its very light weight, well made and the gray color is very nice. The jacket length stops below the small of your back so waterproof pants are helpful to keep your bottom dry. Very light will fit nicely in my day pack.
By fair weather shopper from VIrginia Beach, Virginia on 05/21/2008 Pros: Breathable, Lightweight, Waterproof Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Chest Size: Feels true to size Gear Usage: Springfall rain Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I love the color, the fit and the material. I just wish the length was a little longer, down to the hip instead of just below the waist so it could provide a little better coverage in the rain.
The Ultimate lightweight packable jacket By Blueridge from MD on 05/18/2008 Pros: Breathable, Lightweight, Waterproof, Wind Resistant Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Great product for the price. I bought this for my girlfriend and she loves it. I was a bit worried about water resistance, but a recent one hour hike in the rain proved it to be worthy. Keep in mind that this type of shell will need it's DWR finished enhanced every so often. Please try to use non florocarbon DWR finishes.

It's pretty fitted so I'm thankful I did. It's remarkably light - perfect for rainy days in the South. I don't want to get wet, but I don't need protection from the cold.

By Suze from Indpls. IN on 04/17/2008 Pros: Breathable, Lightweight, Waterproof Cons: Not Enough Pockets or Features Describe Yourself: Advanced Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: Perhaps you would want to purchase a larger size to wear jacket over several other layers. It does not appear to provide any warmth because it is so light weight.
