The liner is great if you are heading out for a night on the town after a hard day of skiing.
By HB the Floridian Skier from Orlando, FL on 03/03/2009 Pros: Lightweight, Stylish, Warm, Waterproof, Wind Resistant Describe Yourself: Advanced Chest Size: Feels too small Sleeve Length: Feels too short Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: The jacket does run small I ordered one size up and have no room to spare in the sleeves, however I am 5'10. I do like that it has a nice streamline fit, didn't feel bulky at all in the chest or waist even though I ordered bigger then normal. I wore it for the first time this weekend skiing in a rain / snow mix about 30 degrees. I wore it with the liner in and a thermal turtle neck and was comfortable. The liner does look great worn alone.

By Toby's Mom from Salem, OR on 01/07/2009 Pros: Durable, Stylish, Warm, Waterproof, Wind Resistant Describe Yourself: Advanced Chest Size: Feels too small Sleeve Length: Feels too long Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I read the reviews before I bought, so I knew these run small, but that the sleeves run long. Both true. I went one size up. The body of the jacket fits perfectly. The sleeves seem about two sizes too long. So I've whipped out the sewing machine and taken the sleeves up about 2 inches (yikes!) on both the inside liner (which is very attractive in its own right) and on the outside shell. No big deal. I'm not doing it a fancy way - just taking a one inch "tuck" which works out to be about 2 inches of length all the way around the sleeve. Other than the irregular sizing, the jack is GREAT. Wonderful features, great design, nice component system for good versatility. Price on it was well worth the slight hassle of modifying the sleeves. And if push had come to shove, I could have used the jacket even with the sleeves too long.

Lots of bells and whistles By supershopper from Simsbury, CT on 11/17/2008 Pros: Breathable, Durable, Lightweight, Stylish, Warm, Waterproof, Wind Resistant Best Uses: Casual Wear, Downhill, Hiking Describe Yourself: Competitive Athlete Chest Size: Feels true to size Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living, Winter Sports Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Based on reviewers I ordered 2 sizes above my normal size on this jacket (size six, bought size 10)and it fits perfectly. Perfect jacket to pack when you need versatility and have luggage considerations. Can wear skiing, both winter and spring by removing interior jacket, which is black and can be worn out at night as it is so fashionable.

Really happy with it. EXTREMELY WARM! Which is what I want. Also had a problem with the address, but the company instantly responded and fixed the problem easily.
Overall a well designed jacket By break a leg, do it skiing from Seattle, WA on 05/12/2008 Pros: Breathable, Durable, Lots of Pockets, Warm, Waterproof Cons: Hood is a bit flimsy Describe Yourself: Advanced Chest Size: Feels true to size Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living, Winter Sports Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I bought this jacket for skiing. As I purchased it at the end of the season, I haven't had a chance to ski with it yet. However, just in wearing around town, it's well made, waterproof and comfortable. Seattle weather can change alot in just a few hours so having the ability to layer inner/outer jackets is highly utilitarian. I purchased the brown and it goes well with most of my casual wear. The waist cinch makes it sort of an anorak style that is figure flattering. I purchased a size larger than I usually wear thanks to previous comments and it's a great fit for me. The only neg is that the stowaway hood is pretty flimsy. Too bad they didn't make it with the same material as the jacket fabric as it doesn't look good not stowed and since it's not removable, it's kind of bulky when stowed. Even on the slopes, I probably won't use it much anyway since I usually wear a helmet but would have liked a more substantial hood for wearing around town given the amount of sporatic rain we get out here.
