Best sole for river fishing By blkfishing from Colorado Springs, CO on 04/20/2008 Pros: Dries Easily, Durable, Good Grip, Lightweight Describe Yourself: Avid Fisher Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This is the best sole to have fishing the Colorado Rivers that I frequent. You just have to have the older version of Korker boots to be able to use this replacement sole.

By Bergger from Colorado on 04/01/2008 Best Uses: Fly Fishing, Freshwater Fishing Describe Yourself: Avid Fisher Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: My favorite sole for the Korkers Boot. I use this sole 90% of the time when river fishing. It provides great traction in rocky/mossy conditions. Also provides better traction on the bank vs the standard felt sole. They are easy to put on and remove from the boot as well and are very durable. Can't beat them for this price either!

Better footing than just plain felt By Brian from Boulder, CO on 03/17/2008 Best Uses: Freshwater Fishing, Saltwater Fishing Describe Yourself: Avid Fisher Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Gives better traction than plain felts, or lugs on slick or mossy rocks. Studs not quite long enough in my opinion for really mossy surfaces (thus only 4 stars) .
By Hatchmaster from Rockwall, Tx on 03/12/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Durable, Good Grip Best Uses: Fly Fishing, Freshwater Fishing, Saltwater Fishing Describe Yourself: Avid Fisher Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Comfortable, quality and convenience. Felt doesn't wear as long as other boots but, close and a heck of a lot easier to change. If the new models are as good I'll never own anything but Korkers. Have outperformed three other "name" brands I've owned.
