Great knife for picnics, but should fold By Skinnytires from Seatte, WA on 12/12/2008 Describe Yourself: High-end Shopper Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Useful for picnics. Would be better if it folded.
It's a knife, it cuts stuff. By Rusty from Plymouth, VT on 11/30/2008 Pros: Attractive Design, Bright Describe Yourself: Midrange Shopper Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: It's a decent knife, seems quite sharp, and was priced very fairly.
By Qigong4Healing from Chicago, IL on 11/08/2008 Pros: Attractive Design, Durable Cons: One dent, Uneven blade cut Describe Yourself: Budget Shopper Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This knife is a pleasure to hold. Fits my small hand perfectly. The blade is very sharp. I did very neat job slicing onions and tomatoes. This is the best knife I've ever had. There is one small dent on the blade's end and the blade is a bit uneven in the middle(possibly defect that does not affect knife's performance). So I gave 4 stars.
Day One is Great; Don't Know Long-Term By Blessings from Happy Valley, MA on 11/07/2008 Pros: Comfy to use, Lightweight, Sharp Best Uses: Chopping veggies paring, Kitchen Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I love having a lightweight knife that cuts easily through veggies. I won't trust it long-term until it proves itself, though. That is because some of the most famous brands of knives have failed to hold an edge, and failed to be sharpenable, in my kitchen. {Is it me?}
This is my first titanium knife, and mfr. promises it won't rust. I take good care of my knives; don't leave them sitting in water!
So, we'll see...!
By the way, it has that nice, Japanese-designed flowy/elegant look.
Nice and sharp, could be a tad longer By les from apple valley, CA on 12/30/2007 Describe Yourself: Practical Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: To cut large roasts.
Handle is a little awkward.
I would buy this product again By Maggie Mae from East Dubuque, Illinois on 12/27/2007 Describe Yourself: Bargain Hunter, High-End Shopper, Practical, Stylish Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I just cut up two chickens and used this knife. It went through the bones like butter.
By ZZD from NorCal on 12/20/2007 Pros: Attractive Design, Bright, Durable Describe Yourself: Bargain Hunter, Practical Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This is a very nice high end knife, and it's very presentable. It makes a great gift.
I would still buy this product By Pete from Millersville, MD on 12/18/2007 Describe Yourself: Bargain Hunter, High-End Shopper, Practical Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: The picture had a metal blade, did not show the coating which was dark and not metallic looking.
Good blade, disappointing handle By Dave the deer from Orcas, WA. on 12/17/2007 Describe Yourself: Practical Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: The blade seems to hold an edge. Knife arrives only partly sharpened. I'd prefer they save the presentation box and hone the edge properly. The handle is attractive but not very well designed - especially for larger hands. Over priced for what it is.
By MimiandLen from St. Paul, MN on 12/12/2007 Describe Yourself: Bargain Hunter, High-End Shopper, Practical, Stylish Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Both great and not-so-great: it's sharp! It's a well-balanced, lightweight, super-sharp kitchen knife.
