Nice looking rain protection By Wyo Gal from Casper, WY on 09/23/2009 Pros: Lightweight, Stylish, Trim fit, Waterproof Best Uses: Casual Wear, City walking in the rain Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Gear Usage: rainy weather, Unpredictable weather Sleeve Length: Feels too short Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I took this jacket to DC with me since it looked like it could change to rainy times and it was great. it's light enough to carry when it's not raining and really blocked out all the water when it was. it looks nice, too, and isn't bulky. It has a bit of a rubbery feel, but not like a real slicker and it isn't shiny, but more matte. I like it a lot for what I need - a light coat to get me through those rainy, but warmish times.
By Zilpo from Kentucky on 09/19/2009 Pros: Lightweight, Waterproof, Wind Resistant Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: My arms are long, and this covers me well. The hood also provides good coverage.
By BusyB from Wilton, NY on 09/17/2009 Pros: Breathable, Lightweight, Stylish, Warm, Waterproof, Wind Resistant Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I took this jacket camping the weekend after I received it. It really held up against the rain and the cool Adirondack temperatures, with a light fleece underneath. I totally stayed dry and warm. The fit is stylish and comfortable. I own a lot of Columbia clothing because their products really hold up. I do find that their sizes run a little large, so I bought this jacket in a small and it's perfect. I'm also happy with the color - silt.

By amylou from los angeles, CA on 09/11/2009 Pros: Lightweight, Warm, Waterproof Best Uses: Backcountry, Casual Wear Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Chest Size: Feels true to size Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I wanted to keep this. Smooth finish, not "crackly"
like most rainjackets. Liked the fit, big enough to go over bulky clothing, nice hood, very warm which
would have been great for our spring new zealand vacation. My problem was the brown color, very dark
and flat, if you are looking for a camo raincoat,
or just really like deep dark brown (no reddish tones) this would be a great choice.
