It just didn't look good for me. The jacket was also too long for me (I'm petite at 5'1") and hit just below the hip. It'd work well on someone taller. Great quality.

Beautiful Jacket! But, too heavy for me. By book lover from Helena, MT on 12/10/2008 Pros: Attractive Design, Durable, Stylish, Versatile Best Uses: Going Out, Travel Describe Yourself: Classic, High-end shopper, Stylish, Trendy Chest Size: Feels too small Length: Feels true to length Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: It was too heavy for me to wear inside or even to church-and that's why I purchased it.
I returned it.
But, I wanted to buy it for over a year and you had a wonderful price on it. I was disappointed not to own it.
By Traveller Gerry from Manassas, VA on 08/18/2008 Pros: Attractive Design, Chic, Comfortable, Warm Best Uses: Casual Wear, Going Out, Office, Travel Describe Yourself: Classic, High-end shopper, shopaholic, Stylish, Trendy Chest Size: Feels true to size Length: Feels true to length Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Since this is a fall/winter/spring top, I have not had the opportunity to actually wear it but an looking forward to it. Will go well with pants or skirts. Since I'm petite, I have just turned the sleeve cuffs up and will tack in place rather than have them shortened - if shortening is possible with a weave. Shortening would lose the fringy effect. I'm a 36DDD in the chest area and the 14 fit great - the belted waist curved in as it should. Love it.
By Busy Lawyer Mom from Denver on 08/12/2008 Pros: Attractive Design, Beautiful detail, Warm Describe Yourself: Classic, High-end shopper, Stylish Chest Size: Feels true to size Length: Feels true to length Sleeve Length: Feels too long Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: Found it true to size in size 4. Returned this beautifully made jacket (loved the subtle ruffle trim) because it was unusually bulky and hot - more than a regular suit jacket, but not really an over-jacket either. Sleeves a bit long and probably meant to have cuffs turned up, but again the bulkiness gets in the way. Good for someone who is cold all the time, and wants more bulk on the top.
By The Style Maven from Phoenix, AZ on 01/17/2008 Pros: Attractive Design, Couture style, Outstanding constuction Cons: Sleeves are a little snug Best Uses: Dressy occasions, Going Out, Luncheons, Travel Describe Yourself: High-end shopper, Stylish, Trendy Chest Size: Feels too small Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This jacket goes well with another item I bought here - a taupe wool gauze skirt. It looks very high style and elegant that way, but would also dress up a pair of wool slacks or suede pants. The tweedy fabric makes it versitle. The product description is correct to advise ordering one size smaller. The size 6 fits almost perfectly as an 8. The only problem may be for someone with athletic or full arms (which I do not have), as the sleeves are a little snug on me.
