First Romikas, but not the last! By T from Northeast Ohio on 06/22/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Cute, Stable Cons: Slippery sole at first Best Uses: Anyday, Beach, Travel Describe Yourself: Comfort-loving, Stylish Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I was looking for a sandal that wouldn't look too clunky with shorts or skirts, and I happily discovered these. They are surprisingly comfortable and looked great with most of my summer clothes. I took them on a trip and I was able to wear them all day (about 12 hours of walking on city streets) with less foot and leg discomfort than I've ever had with any of my previous favorite shoes (a famous clog-maker's sandals). One hint: scuff up the slippery soles on a sidewalk before wearing them.
Not as cute as I thought they would be By Kathy from San Diego, CA on 06/18/2008 Pros: Breathable, Durable, Stable Best Uses: Barbecues, Beach, Travel Describe Yourself: Casual, Stylish Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: At first I thought these would be so cute, but then as I started wearing them around to get the feel of them I noticed a light colored ridge on the sole. It is made of hard material, kind of like an insert. You can't tell on the picture. The more I looked at it the more I noticed it. Your foot is cradled in it which could be ok except that it kind of sticks up on the sides. It reminded me of an old style shoe.
Sorry but I just couldn't get passed that and the fact that it does go high on your instep. I returned them.

By Swimmlynn from Central MA on 06/07/2008 Pros: Cute, Durable, Light weight, Stable Cons: Squeezes Pinky Toe, Uncomfortable Describe Yourself: Classy but casual Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: These felt great at first, but after a short time, it seemed my baby toes was turned under. I ended up with blisters in no time at all. To bad because they were really light weight and cute, perfect for the office. Maybe the toe box just wasn't wide enough for me.
By oaknee from Indianapolis, IN on 06/02/2008 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Cute Describe Yourself: Conservative Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: These are true to length but felt a little wide, but straps are adjustable. Also feels stiff when you first put them on. I walked in the house with them for a few minutes over a few days and they became much more comfortable. The heel height is comfortable and a little lower than other Romikas I've tried. I liked the style and think they will look good with skirts, shorts, slacks this summer.
Very comfortable and stylish shoes By annonymous from Raleigh, NC on 06/01/2008 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Cute Sizing: Feels half size too small Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Great shoe for dress up or dress down. I bought my usual size and had to get a half size larger. Very stable and confortable shoe.
By Kitty from Arlington, VA on 05/23/2008 Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: These sandals are attractive and comfortable. The leather and the footbed are really soft, and it has good support. There are a couple of problems that are making me think about sending them back, though. The covering on the heel looks like cheap plastic -- it's really out of keeping with the elegant look of the leather. I guess you wouldn't notice it unless you were looking closely at the sandal. The bigger problem is that it is very slippery, both on the footbed and on the sole. I tried walking in them on carpet and on hard surfaces, and my foot kept sliding forward in them, while at the same time, the sole was slipping on the floor. It really makes me nervous about wearing them. I may try putting a stick-on tread on the soles.
