The material around the toe was rough with little pieces sticking up. The insole overlapped the seam on the heel.

I have had good experiences in the past with Romika, although I always felt I had to compromise look for feel. From the photos I thought these would be funky/stylish, but they are ugly in an orthopedic way (mostly due to the strap). Also, they simply do not fit my foot well and immediately gave me blisters on my small toes where the sandal narrows in the front. I am returning them.

When they arrived, they were definitely comfortable, stable--but the styling wasn't cute. I'd rather put on clunky looking sneakers (which I would never want to do) with a skirt than wear these clunky, unflattering shoes.

However, after wearing them for a few days my foot became irritated by the stitching.
They are sturdy and not likely to fall apart.
Thje stitching would be the one thing I don't like.
