Comments:
I bought this suit b/c I'm doing my first triathlon in the ocean and was considering renting a suit b/c I feared being cold (and wanted extra bouyany). I LOVE it and at this price it was a steal [...] I was doubtful it would fit b/c I was in the L category for weight (150lb), but S-M on height (5'2"). I opted for M only b/c L wasn't available and it fits. It is awfully tough to get it up over my legs and I have to be slow & careful, but my understanding is that is typical of triathlon wetsuits, which are supposed to fit like a 2nd skin. I use Suitjuice to help lube up before suiting up as well as use Body Glide around my neck to prevent chaffing, as the neck is very snug and a little constraining (but this is expected). The suit is very comfortable, light, flexible and extremely bouyant (a plus for a swim challenged newbie like me on long open water swims!) and the sleeveless one doesn't constrain my arm strokes at all and doesn't chaffe my arms either. My only complaint is that the neoprene is extremely delicate and despite my care to not pinch, squeeze, or dig my nails into it I accidentally tore the outer neoprene w/ my fingernail when I first tried it on and again when I put it on for my first swim. Very small surface tears (less than 1/4 inch long and just in the outer layer of neoprene, not through the fabric, but it was annoying none the less. It is easy to repair, so buy a tube of black Seal Cement to keep on hand b/c little tears happen (often!). I have nothing bad to say about this suit and I think the delicacy issue is the same for all tri-suits. Knowing too many people who payed full retail this exact suit, I'm thrilled that I got it for less than 1/2 of what they paid! Between this and the Zoot racesuit I bought from here, I'm a novice who can dress like a pro and I paid just over 1/3 of retail price for my awesome technical gear.
