Wide Width Does Not Mean Wide Calf By Jeanine from Upper Darby, PA on 01/03/2009 Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I bought these just as a cute pair of boots, not to motorcycle in. They are cute but I assumed (wrongly) that wide width meant the calf would be wide as well. They didn't fit!

They are comfortable, good looking and I saved a lot of money by buying them from Sierra Trading Post. Thank You
By Madmaxie from Philadelphia, PA on 01/01/2009 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Stylish, Tough Best Uses: Fashion boot with jeans Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I saw these boots and I thought they looked like the Frye Campus boot, so I read all the other reviews and decide to give it a shot. I ordered the size 8 and they fit true. I am very happy with the boot. They look great with jeans.
Much cheaper and better than Frye plus they are made in USA....
By Slimsin from Eagle Point, Oregon on 12/25/2008 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, High Quality Leather, Stylish, Tough Best Uses: Long Rides, Protection, Strutten Style Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: These are very high quality boots. I was surprized at the quality. Really as good if not better than Frye Campus boot. This shoe however is much more true to size compared to Campus, which I find to be on the more generous side. So they don't seem to be as bulky either. At this price these are a very good buy!!!! I have a narrow foot and these fit very snug, so if you're feet are on the medium side, you probably want to order the wide width.
Fine quality, great price By boot lover from Palmerton, PA on 12/01/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Stylish, Tough Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: They look great with jeans, tucked in or out

Comfy, tough -- & more stylish than Frye By Lauren from Boston, MA on 08/03/2008 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Stylish, Tough Best Uses: Fashion, Poor Weather Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I'd been searching for a year for the perfect motorcycle boot. I'd purchased a costly pair of Frye "Campus" boots, which I wore all last winter but which were uncomfortable and never looked very attractive (too chunky and square-toed). Though I'm usually quite label-conscious and I'd never heard of Double H, I thought I'd give these boots a try. I couldn't be happier! The leather is soft and breathable and the profile is sleek. As an added bonus, the toe box is more rounded than those clunky Fryes.
I recommend sizing 1/2-size up at least. People who plan to wear these boots over jeans or pants should be advised that the shaft of this boot is also rather narrow (even with skinny jeans, it's a snug fit).
My one complaint: the shaft of the boot is shorter than it would appear to be in the photos. I'm only 5'2" and these boots hit my leg mid-calf (so, while they will fit better *under* a pair of pants, they don't look quite as stylish *over* jeans).
By tigerlily from VT on 07/22/2008 Best Uses: With jeans or a skirt Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: The size 7 fit true to size. I have a low volume foot and did not find this boot bulky at all.
By life is not a race from lafayette, ca on 07/22/2008 Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: If I kept them, I'd take them to the snow, wear them in the rain and cold weather. I'd wear them pants over them or I wanted them big enough to tuck pants in and show the great leather--top quality. I wear a six wide if its a true six, I usually get a six and a half---this I probably would have needed a seven wide and then the calf part still may not have been big enough.
