By aussie buyer from Australia on 11/02/2009 Best Uses: Comfort, Home, Lounging Describe Yourself: Comfort Driven Sizing: Feels half size too small Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Got a pair for myself and a friend - they will be great for travelling. Glad my feet weren't any bigger though - if you are a size 10 or more, you're probably out of luck unfortunately. If you have a smaller foot, I'd recommend them as they are very comfy and warm!
Acorn Her Travel Down Slippers By Spadefoot from Toronto, On Canada on 11/02/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Durable Sole, Soft, Warm Best Uses: Comfort, Home, Lounging Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: In terms of tent camp booties, they aren't as ideal as my down over-the-ankle ones for warmth but for kickin' around the house, traveling by plane/train/car they're great. I bought them specifically to keep my feet warm while doing shiatsu treatments, for which they are excellent. They keep my feet warm, they allow for flexion and extension of my feet without snagging or bulk, and they are very portable.
love them!
By DSD from ARKANSAS on 10/29/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Cute, Soft, Warm Best Uses: Comfort, Home, Lounging Describe Yourself: Comfort Driven Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: THIS SLIPPER IS PERFECT FOR ME. IT IS EASY ON AND OFF; WARM; LIGHT & EASY TO PACK. I ALSO ORDERED THE ACORN SLIPPER SOCK IN A LARGE WHICH WAS WAY TOO BIG; I USUALLY WEAR AN 8 AND HAVE A WIDE FOOT. I ORDERED THIS IN L (8-9) AND IT IS A PERFECT FIT. I WOULD SAY IF YOU ARE A 7 1/2 OR HAVE A NARROW FOOT, ORDER THE MEDIUM. IF YOU ARE A SOLID 8 OR 8 1/2 THE LARGE SHOULD BE FINE. IF YOU ARE A 9 OR 9 1/2 YOU PROBABLY NEED TO ORDER UP A SIZE. I LIKE THESE SO MUCH THAT I'M GOING TO ORDER ANOTHER PAIR.

By mtngal77 from Lake Tahoe, NV on 10/27/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Cute, Soft, Warm Best Uses: Comfort, Home, Lounging Describe Yourself: Comfort Driven Sizing: Feels half size too small Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: These slippers are overall very comfortable- warm, but don't make my feet sweat like some slippers do. As all down products do, they shed some feathers. My one complaint is an embroidered Acorn emblem on the insole that hits at the heel- it creates a bit of a "princess and the pea" situation. I'm hoping over time, I'll get used to it. Note: I wear a 6 1/2 to 7 size shoe, and ordered the medium. They fit just right, so if you tend towards a 7 1/2, you may want to order one size up.
Cozy. comfy, warm and soft........ By Lady M from Boston on 10/25/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Durable Sole, Easy to get on and off, Easy walking, Soft, Warm Cons: Feathers emerge sometimes, Need to pick up feathers Best Uses: Comfort, Home, Lounging Describe Yourself: Comfort Driven Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: These are really terrific slippers, but alas, I could only give them a four stars because of the problem of the feathers which emerge and can either be found on the floor or sticking to things. I am not sure why this happens except that perhaps the material which houses them has a weave which is too open, allowing the feathers to emerge. I have not yet tried to wash them, something I usually find of importance, though perhaps they should be simply dry cleaned, something which can be done now in a regular dryer. With that caveat, they really are terrific.

I wear an 8 1/2 and they are advertised as 8-9. I feel like they are a bit too small.

If I had known, I would have gone up to a medium so that I could wear socks with them. Otherwise, they are fantastic!
