As all down products do, they shed some feathers. My one complaint is an embroidered Acorn emblem on the insole that hits at the heel- it creates a bit of a "princess and the pea" situation. I'm hoping over time, I'll get used to it. Note: I wear a 6 1/2 to 7 size shoe, and ordered the medium. They fit just right, so if you tend towards a 7 1/2, you may want to order one size up.
Cozy. comfy, warm and soft........ I am not sure why this happens except that perhaps the material which houses them has a weave which is too open, allowing the feathers to emerge. I have not yet tried to wash them, something I usually find of importance, though perhaps they should be simply dry cleaned, something which can be done now in a regular dryer. With that caveat, they really are terrific.

I wear an 8 1/2 and they are advertised as 8-9. I feel like they are a bit too small.

If I had known, I would have gone up to a medium so that I could wear socks with them. Otherwise, they are fantastic!

With the cold weather, I have been wearing them constantly while at home. The sole seems durable but I doubt that I would wear them outside or for driving. Acorn's website says they're washable -- I haven't tried that yet.
