As stated by other reviewer, the 'non-slip' tread is a misnomer and a diappointment, it does not have a true tread, its more of an embossment and not very slip proof.

I'll have to avoid water on the bathroom or kitchen floor, or going outside to retrieve the paper. Can't tell if I can put these in the washing machine -- no laundering instructions came with them.

Just disappointed that the sole was not a harder plastic that I could wear indoor and a quick run out to the garage.
Also, I'm more safety-minded and wish the traction grips on the sole were more prevelent. But what is there works fine.

They are very lightweight and not big or bulky like most down filled products. Easy to pack for travel too.
