The fabric is lightweight and stretchy. When I put them on, they are true to size. But very quickly the fabric stretches and they become too large around the waist (otherwise would give them 5 stars.) I am considering ordering a second pair a size smaller, but have started drying them in the dryer and that seems to help. I think the strap that holds up the rolled cuff is too long, so I usually wear them full length. The colors are a little hard to match and I often end up with a white top. In spite of that, these have quickly become a favorite pair of pants because of the comfortable fabric and nice cut. I have worn them hiking/backpacking, for casual dinners, and working around the house. They wash well, and I always get compliments when I wear them.

By Dana from Ventura, CA on 01/29/2009 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, High-Quality Material and Stitching, Lightweight, Packable Best Uses: Camping, Casual Wear, Travel Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I am 5'3" and these are too long for me when rolled down and the "cuff mechanism" (a button and strap) make the cuffs a little funky/ flimsy. I am going to roll the cuff up 2x (@~ 2" cuff), sew it there (since the fabric is "inside out" so it will look cool), move the button down and use the little strap- THEN I think they will work really well for me (just a bit of work...) and will be regular pant length. Got it? :)

The orange is a good burnt orange, but the blue is not as good of a navy as I thought it would be. I liked the fit, but had a hard time getting the cuffs rolled up like I wanted. They will still work for football games though.
