Great quality, poor sizing By abeesivu from Raleigh, NC on 06/17/2009 Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: Size 6 - a great product, but they run large. I am small hipped, but a 6 is never too large. I like that these shorts are very low rise, but I have to roll the top to keep them up and even then...BTW, they don't shrink - tried that- too high quality material. If you wear your shorts painted on like my mom always says, then these may wear comfortably.

By scaryblondechick from New York, NY on 01/06/2009 Pros: Breathable, Lightweight, Stylish Best Uses: Casual Wear, Travel Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: These shorts come in colors to match Aventura by Sportif's "Skyler" swim briefs and halter top, also sold on this site. So they're just perfect to pull on for a little coverup.
The inseam isn't as long, maybe, as they look in the picture here - these are not long enough to be considered walking or hiking shorts. I prefer that, I find a shorter length flattering on me, but if you want shorts for sports, pick something else.
The fabric is lightweight and wonderfully soft, and should dry quickly. I know I'm going to love these on my next vacation.
Great fit; very comfortable By Debbie from Atlanta, GA on 11/16/2008 Pros: High-Quality Material and Stitching, Lightweight, Stylish, Washes Well Best Uses: Backpacking, Camping, Casual Wear, Travel, Wet Weather Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I love these shorts so much that I have three pair of the Nevis shorts, and two pair of the Nevis capris that I have bought over the last few months. I guess you might call me addicted to the Nevis line.

By Always Active from Sedley, VA on 08/11/2008 Pros: Breathable, High-Quality Material and Stitching, Lightweight, Roomy Front pockets, Stylish, Washes Well Best Uses: Casual Wear, Travel, Wet Weather Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I fell in love with these shorts the instant I put them on. They fit perfect, lower on the waist but not too low. The material is very light weight and breathable. I wish they had more colors, I would buy every one!
Did I get the same shorts as the photo? By Hiker chick from Cambridge, MA on 08/06/2008 Pros: High-Quality Material and Stitching, Lightweight, Stylish Best Uses: Camping, Casual Wear Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I was a little confused when I got these shorts... the fit doesn't seem like the picture. They seemed quite short, and the waist was low-rise, almost like a juniors short-short. The pair I ordered was a bit on the large side (though I did order up a size since I'm on the border), but since they didn't have any elastic, I can't make them work-- they might fall off. The fabric and construction were nice enough. Just don't expect them to be a full-coverage short, and don't order up thinking you can adjust them after the fact-- interior waistband does mean there's any elastic or drawstring that I could find.
