Order at least two sizes up! By Minn in Rear-View Mirror from Denver, CO on 04/29/2008 Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This runs very small and the description in the catalog is not correct. Order at least two sizes above what it says in the catalog and save yourself the hassle of exchanging the shirt twice--like I did. The shirt itself is great once you get the right size.
By Pattie the paddler from Portland, OR on 04/27/2008 Pros: Durable, High Quality, Lightweight Describe Yourself: Comfort-oriented, Practical Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I usually wear size medium but in this product it was uncomfortably close fitting so I exchanged it for the large which fits better but I think I would of been even happier with an x-lrg. I realize it's meant to fit like a wet suit but for my needs I didn't need such a close fit. I have to say that the online exhange that Sierra Trading Post offers is so easy it takes alot of the hassle off of buying clothes online.
By R from Pittsburgh, PA on 04/26/2008 Pros: Attractive Design, Comfortable, High Quality Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I haven't had a chance to test the durability of the shirt, but as far as style and comfort, it was a good choice. I would be an XS, according to their chart, but I ordered a medium because of the tight fit. The medium is snug, but not uncomfortable.
By CA girl from Long Beach, CA on 04/24/2008 Pros: Attractive Design, Lightweight Describe Yourself: Comfort-oriented, Practical Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I ordered an XS because I usually wear a 4. It came looking like it would fit a toddler. The 'long sleeves' came up to my elbows. I returned it for a Medium.. haven't received it yet, but hope it is large enough. The quality looks good-- it is just the sizing that is way off. I would recommend this if you can get the right size because it is a great price for a rash guard.
By A mom who worries about sunburn from Montclair, NJ on 03/31/2008 Describe Yourself: Practical Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: This shirt should be purchased for kids, not teens or adults. My teenage daughter, who generally wears a size small in juniors sizes, could barely squeeze into the size M. We sent it back.
If the size were reasonable, this would be a good product for the money.
In Hawaii now and my daughter loves it! By Sam the swimmer from Golden, CO on 03/22/2008 Describe Yourself: Practical Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Use it for boogie boarding in the ocean and for swim team practice to stay warm.
By Sharky from Calgary, Alberta on 03/17/2008 Pros: Attractive Design, Comfortable, Durable, Lightweight Best Uses: Athletics, Casual Wear Describe Yourself: Comfort-oriented, Stylish Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I can wear it with a pair of jeans or over top of my bathing suit, and it keeps me warm when I just get out of the water. It is supposed to fit snug, so I had ordered a medium even though I usually wear an x-small. It fits perfect!
Attractive top w/solar protection By Isa from Humboldt, CA on 02/27/2008 Pros: Attractive Design, Better than suncreen, Comfortable Best Uses: any water activity, Athletics Describe Yourself: Comfort-oriented, Practical, Stylish Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Even high quality sunscreen washes/ rubs off too quickly, especially in the surf. This rash guard covers well. Sizing too small. I am a size 2, but I needed a large so I could breath.
