No, I would not recommend this to a friend

I asked for a 33 waist, received a 35.Good you sent a 35 it fits me as a 33, I usually wear. They fit me perfectly, it will not fit anyone who is not slim. It is not a traditional corduroy. The fabric is light and very comfortable for 70's even low 80's temperature.
