as a change of pace. They both block light vey well.Very easy to hang & didn't need to iron as they are heavy enough to get the wrinkles out by hanging.

One window in the room gets the evening sun and before I hung these curtains it was often too warm. Since I put these up I can definitely tell the difference. Only regret I didn't buy another pair for another room.

I am happy with them so far. If you are looking for curtains that block the most light, these are not them. I have a street light about 50 feet from my bedroom windows where I installed these curtains. Even when used with aluminum mini blinds, these curtains do not block as much light as the set they replaced. But the bottom line is that these curtains are a good value.
