By Gold Leaf Lady from Pittsburgh PA on 09/12/2009 Describe Yourself: Budget Shopper Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I used narrower mollies and thinner/shorter screws than the ones provided to put in the drywall.
The style and finish are not so classy but it's a great buy for the price and does the job.
By Giselle from Colorado on 08/20/2008 Pros: Durable, Easy To Install, Functional, Versatile Describe Yourself: Bargain Hunter Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Used over large sliding glass door. It was large enough to extend beyond so curtain would not block window when not needed.

away from the windows. Nice effect.
By HikeVA from Charlottesville on 07/23/2008 Pros: Durable, Easy To Install, Functional, Versatile Best Uses: Bedroom, Kitchen Describe Yourself: Bargain Hunter, Practical, Stylish Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: This rod is exactly as it appears. If you like rustic and Greek style, then this will be fine. It was easy to install and holds tab-top insulated drapes for my 63" window. Once hung, the style of the finials were disappointing. The price I paid turned out not to be a bargain compared to the local home improvement do-it-yourself store. It wasn't worth returning because of shipping oversize, so I'll either place in a spare bedroom or give to Habitat and try again.

Good, but buy our own wall anchors By Amy from Virginia on 07/22/2008 Cons: Poor hardware enclosed Describe Yourself: Practical, Stylish Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: The pole itself works well and looks good. However, the finish on the (brown) pole appears to actually be some form of rust so be careful not to lay it down on light colored textiles. The only other thing that I would recommend is that you prepare for their arrival by going out and buying some wall anchors. The ones provided will not hold the pole and certainly wouldn't hold the pole and a floor length curtain.
By River Rat from Dallas, TX on 07/19/2008 Pros: Durable, Easy To Install, Functional Describe Yourself: Bargain Hunter, Practical, Stylish Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Will fit a very large window/opening; like a home theater projection screen!
By firewatcher from Lincoln CA on 06/13/2008 Pros: Durable, Easy To Install, Functional, Versatile Best Uses: Bedroom, Heavy Curtains Describe Yourself: Bargain Hunter, Practical, Stylish Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This rod was perfect for my bedroom -- easy to install and it looks great with my pine furniture.
By Retiree decorating a new place from Portland OR on 04/28/2008 Pros: Durable, Easy To Install, Functional, Versatile Describe Yourself: Bargain Hunter, Practical, Stylish Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: It looks great in our bedroom and is strong enough for a heavy curtain on a 80" window. I'm not sure I'd use it on anything much wider.
