By Summer lover from Denver CO on 08/26/2009 Cons: Collects hair, Colors bleed if wet, Curls Up At Corners, Hard To Vacuum, Stains easily Describe Yourself: Budget Shopper Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I purchased 2 of the 8 x 11 rugs. While they were pretty to begin with (a couple of months ago), staining is a problem & the colors can bleed into each other if a spill isn't wiped up immediately. My dog knocked a glass of water onto the carpet & it ruined the rug--all the "stripes" bled into each other. It's very thin & also not easy to vacuum--especially if you have dogs that shed (and who doesn't?). A rug pad is also necessary. I would not purchase again--don't think it will last in decent condition very long. Also the ends curl up. Basically I have to babysit these rugs & vacuum them twice as much as I do every other rug in the house. [...]
Beautiful color, excellent craftmanship By OldRattler from Upstate, NY on 04/26/2009 Describe Yourself: High-end Shopper Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: To be fair, this is "not" a wool rug as a previous reviewer stated, its woven cotton and well made. The best use is over solid-color, wall-to-wall carpet to add color. It is not thick nor should you expect it to be as it is (1) woven and (2) cotton. Because it is lightweight, it can be difficult to vacuum, but not so difficult as to let that stand in the way of buying it.
By kmd from naples,fl on 12/29/2008 Pros: Attractive Design, Easy To Assemble Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I thought it was a thicker rug like the other Company C rugs we had bought. It was a plain, flat wool rug. it definitely needs padding under it if used to play on.
