By Movie room man from Cheyenne on 03/09/2009 Pros: Different, Durable, Unique Describe Yourself: Midrange Shopper Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: My dog likes this. I use a knife or alan wrench to get the old pieces of jerky treats out of the slots. It if was too easy, the dogs would have it out in seconds. I like that my dog can't burry it easily as he burries everything.
Well worth the price!!!!!!!!!!!! By polar man from mn on 03/04/2009 Pros: Attractive Design, Bright, Durable, Unique Describe Yourself: Budget Shopper Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: The Irish Setter loves this toy. Don't know how well it will work for heavy chewers.
By Dog Lover from Atlanta on 03/03/2009 Pros: Attractive Design, Durable, Unique Cons: Replacing treats hard Best Uses: Kitchen, Living Room, Office, Outdoors Describe Yourself: Budget Shopper Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This is a great toy with a couple of helpful hints. A rasp is very helpful to clean the channels and replace the fins of rawhide. Otherwise this toy is wonderful! I bought this as a gift for a friends dog after she saw my 2 dogs playing with theirs!
By reporter from new orleans, la. on 02/15/2009 Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: This is impossible to refill. And too heavy for my middle sized dog.
By Happy Girl from Idaho on 02/05/2009 Cons: Nylon gets tooth dents in Describe Yourself: Budget Shopper Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Our dog attacked it and chewed it until it may be hard to refill. He can't get enough of it. I would recommend it with the reservation that it may not last very long. The chews are past their pull date, but that's not a problem for us.
By lolo from MA. on 02/02/2009 Describe Yourself: Midrange Shopper Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: My dog loves this chew toy but it is VERY difficult to get the old chew pieces out after they have been chewed down. Not worth the effort!
Dogs love them, dog Mom not so much... By agiledoglover from RI on 01/29/2009 Pros: Okay for my gentle chewer, Unique Cons: Delicate, Hard chewers have damaged Best Uses: Kitchen, Living Room, Office Describe Yourself: Midrange Shopper Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Really keeps dogs engaged, but after 1 use my 2 aggressive chewers have damaged pieces to the point where it is difficult to remove and replace old chew strips.
My dog loved this but I didn't By Laura from Victoria, BC on 01/08/2009 Describe Yourself: Midrange Shopper Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: This product was a big hit with my dog but was very difficult to refill as the slots were to thin to slide the replacement treats into.
Hugely popular with our 3 poodles! By Devon Girl from Phila, PA on 12/28/2008 Pros: Durable, Fun, Unique Describe Yourself: Midrange Shopper Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Great dog toy that will keep even the most intelligent pup occupied for lots of time!
By urbanathlete from New York, NY on 12/21/2008 Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This is an older design of this toy - newer ones have a purple, more durable center. That said, this is still an entertaining toy for my dog. He brings it all around my apt and chews on it for hours - even without the gnawhide chewy refills. This company makes excellent toys for aggressive chewers. My tough chewer destroys the toy in a few days, but this is a durable toy and these are generally the only toys I can buy for him because he's rather destructive.
