Great chew toy for strong chewers By Kimdoll from East Bay, CA on 08/24/2009 Pros: Dog Likes It, Fun, Safe, Tough Cons: Hard to Keep Clean, No squeaker Best Uses: Active Dogs, Larger Dogs Describe Yourself: Long-time Pet Owner Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I have two pitbulls who are extreme chewers. They love these donut's, and play with them together. They can get messy, with the stuffing, but it takes longer than most toys for them to destroy. The only thing that would make them better woudl be a squeaker.
By Hoobie from Iowa City on 08/15/2009 Pros: Dog Likes It, Safe, Tough Best Uses: Active Dogs, Outdoors Describe Yourself: Long-time Pet Owner Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Mine is very tough, and I am surprised that others have had them rip so easily. It is not played with every day as my dog isn't always here, but after almost a year there are really no signs of wear. He, the dog, is more of a fetch and chew fella than an attack and destroy dog, so other dogs might wear it out faster, but the thing has been outside in the elements and not suffered.
It's heavy, abrasion resistant, and easy to hold on to. It does get pretty soggy after a rain, tho, and therefore pretty gross. That's why this stays outside. It dries out if left in the sun, altho this can take a while.
my dog tore it apart in three minutes By harper from boston, ma on 08/14/2009 Describe Yourself: Long-time Pet Owner Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: glad it was not made in china
If your dog has teeth, save your money! By Concerned Dog Owner from Metro Boston, MA on 07/17/2009 Cons: Breaks Easily, Choking Hazard Describe Yourself: Long-time Pet Owner Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: Our dog (~45 lbs) ripped this appart within minutes of getting it. Great concept but unless your dog is a very light chewer, I'd recommend not bothering with this product

Ripped open inside a minute By ALH51 from Columbus OH on 02/03/2009 Pros: Colorful, Dog Likes It Describe Yourself: Long-time Pet Owner Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: It's a cute toy and would probably be great for a dog that wants to cuddle with a toy or fetch. But even my dog, who is not a real aggressive chewer, had it torn open inside a minute.
