HORRIBLE--dog chewed it in 2 minutes By Tiger 1985 from Ridgefield, CT on 01/28/2009 Cons: Breaks Easily, Choking Hazard Describe Yourself: New Owner Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: One end of this stick was chewed off by my 45 pound labradoodle in 2 minutes! Bits and pieces everywhere! And she isn't even a big chewer. Don't be tempted by the price---avoid.

By GGG Ranch from Reno, Nevada on 01/05/2009 Pros: Easy to Clean, Tough Cons: Dog Doesn't Like It, Undesirable smell to dog Best Uses: 65 acre ranch guard dogs, Active Dogs, Larger Dogs, Outdoors Describe Yourself: Professional Pet Trainer Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: Thought this would be great, in that I breed
and train Alaskan Malamutes, and also
Australian shepards. Both of my younger pups,
age 6 months to 1 year, who normally pick up
anything they can find to chew, all plastic things, leather things, stuffed animals, wood sticks, etc.. they will not touch this hard rubber stick, I tryed rubbing it with bacon grease, which they licked off, and have left the
chew stick sitting ever since. I have tryed throwing it, etc.. I dont understand why? They want anything else, from brooms,to plastic chairs,
etc.. but not this toy. so sorry, I tryed everthing. They do love Pigskin, and this is the healthiest for them to chew, more than rawhide.

If your dog likes the smell of tires... By Doglover from Boulder on 06/16/2008 Describe Yourself: Long-time Pet Owner Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: This toy smells like tires/rubber, and I mean SMELLS. When I received it and opened the box, I immediately thought of new car tires and petroleum products. When I kept it in the car, not only did the car smell awful, my eyes stung. This toy off gases tremendous odors such that I don't even care if the dog likes it. My wife told me to either keep it outside or throw it away--I would not get another.
