I liked the unusual color of the shoes. I ordered them to wear running while on vacation. They were great on all terrain: beach, trail, street.
By delicateflower152 from San Antonio, TX on 08/15/2008 Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I love Brooks running shoes and thought these would provide some extra support for treadmilling. I was really disappointed since there seemed to be virtually no support in the arch.
By NV Trail Runner from Reno Nevada on 08/09/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Durable, Great Traction, Stable Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I'm a trail runner on my third pair of these . I won't buy anything else . They log @ 30 miles a week of hard trail running and are perfectly designed for this . These are running shoes for running on trails , I would not recommend them for walking , road running or treadmills although I have done road marathons with them and they were fine . These are shoes for serious runners .

By Gwenny from Pittsburgh, PA on 06/19/2008 Best Uses: Everyday, Trail running Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: So far, I've only worn them on my treadmill (to make sure they work.) They have ample cushioning and I've run about 15 miles in them without getting any blisters or hot spots. I buy my running shoes 1/2 size larger than my street shoe size and did the same with this pair.

I wore the first all fall and winter.Daily walking on slick pavement. They are very comfortable and you can't beat the price. They do not have as much arch support as the GTS Adrenaline by Brooks.
I own both and like both very much. I usually wear a 7 1/2 size 8 is a better fit in both Brooks shoes shoe I own.
