By Casual Guy from Richland, WA on 04/23/2009 Pros: Breathes Well, Comfortable, Looks Great, Stable Best Uses: Business Casual, Travel Describe Yourself: Comfort Driven Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I got these Red Wings a few weeks ago after wearing out some Borns on an Italy trip. So far I really like them. They seem to be very high quality (typical for Red Wing) and I assume they will last a long time, but have no evidence yet. They do seem to run just a little narrow in the toe box.
I wear them to work with jeans (mostly office, some field work) and to church with slacks. They look good either way. My wife even likes the looks of them!

It was a great find. He had been looking for a pair of black shoes and these fit into out budget.
By Dino Mike from Pasadena, CA on 08/08/2008 Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I have a narrow heel and slightly bigger than a "C" width foot. They fit well, and don't slip. This is one of the most comfortable pair of shoes I have ever worn. My feet just don't get tired. Want to see how they will do on an upcoming trip that will involve a lot of walking.
Stylish, corporate-casual By teach2travel from Seattle on 08/08/2008 Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: The standard D width is true to size, so those with wide feet should avoid this model unless a shoe that fits width but runs long is acceptable.

They go perfectly with either. They are comfortable for all day wear including strolling about town. My Husband is very happy with them and considered buying another pair in black.
Black ones not same as Brown ones By Olias from Texas on 07/18/2008 Best Uses: Casual Wear, Travel Describe Yourself: Conservative Sizing: Feels half size too small Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I bought a pair of the brown ones from my local Red Wing store and they were great (I have narrow feet, so the narrower than normal sizing was helpful--I normally wear AA width, but the B width is comfortable with heavy socks). I bought the same size in black from this site and had to send them back for a longer shoe. I think the difference isn't so much in length, as in HEIGHT. Somehow the toebox of the black shoe isn't as tall as the toebox of the brown shoe.
By DOGGY from NY on 06/11/2008 Best Uses: Casual Wear, Travel Describe Yourself: Casual, Conservative Sizing: Feels half size too small Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: WIDTH TOO SMALL.ORDER LARGER WIDTH.
By Katnip from Huntington Beach, CA on 05/30/2008 Pros: Nice leather and style Cons: Too narrow in the heel Describe Yourself: Casual, Conservative Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: These are great looking shoes; I liked the look of the black leather and the top stitching. Unfortunately they were too narrow in the heel and arch area for my bf so they had to be returned. Thanks for carrying narrow widths as they are so hard to find. I'll keep looking. :-)
