We live in Minnesota and need very warm clothes for the weather here - it's perfect. He likes the pull cord at the bottom of the jacket to keep out the wind.

By tilepusher from Las Vegas, NV & Montreal, Quebec on 08/07/2008 Best Uses: Casual Wear, Cold Weather Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I bought this jacket as a light casual jacket for the cold winters of Montreal, Canada. For the price, this is a great warm lightweight jacket- very warm without the weight or bulk of normal ski jackets. I am 5'7" & slightly thicker and the Large size, fits me perfectly. The negatives about this jacket for me are, the whole jacket is designed to be light weight, so the main zipper is very light- I prefer the large zipper styles. Also I wish this jacket was a longer style. Overall a great value for a light, cold weather jacket.
Great product - Keep on Climbing! By Rich - Avid Backpacker and Snow Camper from Fremont, CA (San Francisco Bay Area) on 06/13/2008 Pros: Breathable, Durable, Lightweight, Warm Best Uses: Cold Weather, Extreme Conditions, Hiking and Camping Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Great product! Wore the jacket during my recent climb of Mount Shasta (CA: 14,127 feet) on behalf of the American Liver Foundation. It keept me warm, toasty (but not too warm), and kept out the gusting winds as we climbed through the snow fields towards the summit. I plan on using the jacket during my upcoming Winter snow camping excursions in the Sierra and Mount Lassen.
Good jacket for the price. I like the jacket, it has good features for the price, but could be a little longer in the body.

nice jacket - good value and quality By tonyz from New Mexico on 03/09/2008 Best Uses: Cold Weather, Hiking and Camping Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I've not used it much - just wanted something very warm for the stops during XC skiing or during cool/cold evenings during camping trips.
This seems like it will fit the bill very well, and, all things considered, is a good deal.
By Chuck from Soldotna, AK on 01/03/2008 Best Uses: Casual Wear, Cold Weather, Extreme Conditions, Hiking and Camping Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Perfect for those who have long arms! Really warm for the weight and not bulky. Would not recommend it in wet weather, because down doesn't inuslate well when wet. Perfect for cold or snowy conditions. Hood adjusts well allowing good vision.
