Light weight and VERY warm By Jenna from Nevada on 01/01/2008 Pros: Travels well in bkpk Cons: Not Enough Pockets or Features Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This jacket is great. I recomend buying a size larger if you want to layer or wear a sweater under it. Could have used a few more pockets. I love it, wore a tank top under it in 20 degrees.

By Getting Out There from Lincoln, NE on 12/19/2007 Best Uses: Casual Wear, Cold Weather, Extreme Conditions Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Like the coat but if you have long arms, the sleeves feel a bit short. Use it mostly for urban environs right now but will pack it for future use when hiking.

By Substance Over Bling from Canada on 11/24/2007 Pros: Breathable, Durable, Lightweight, Warm Best Uses: Casual Wear, Cold Weather Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I purchased two of these. It is lightweight and warm. The quality of the materials and the workmanship seems to be fine. There is an inside zip pocket that also serves as a stuff pouch. The tail is slightly longer for increased protection.
The fill is either 650 or 550, I have seen references to both. In any event the fill is 80% Goose Down.
The fit seems perfect, neither too baggy nor too tight and the jacket has sufficient loft without an overly puffy appearance. People with longer arms may find the sleeves too short. A beautiful jacket that is not North Face, Yeah!
The only issue I have is that the collar is loose and there is no adjustment. In colder weather it will require a neck gaiter, balaclava, or a layer with a high collar. On the other hand, if it is that cold you might already be planning to add those anyway, and the jacket's design gives you the space.
