By poconoredpoll from Poconos, PA on 11/06/2009 Pros: Breathable, Durable, Lightweight, Stylish, Warm Best Uses: Backcountry, Casual Wear, Hiking Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Chest Size: Feels true to size Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living Sleeve Length: Feels too short Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I have had this jacket for several years - maybe the 2007 model? The small fits me nicely, as I usually wear it with many layers underneath (I'm 5'8" 115 lbs). It is also very easy to wash and is pretty durable - I've walked through all sorts of pricker-bushes while birding and hiking and it still looks great. I mostly wear it in the fall and spring during 40-50º days.

By Rudy from Western Massachusetts on 10/14/2009 Pros: Breathable, Durable, Lightweight, Wind Resistant Cons: Constricts Movement, Irregular Size, Weird fit Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels too short Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I got a medium in this jacket after reading the reviews. I typically wear a small. It wasn't too small per se, just poorly fitting. Sleeves were too short, jacket itself is a little short, shoulders were definitely strange fitting, kind of slope-y. Just not attractive looking. I returned it.
Short Sleeved, but lightwt. & packable By Ky Hiker from Louisville, KY on 10/07/2009 Pros: Breathable, Lightweight, Stylish, Warm, Wind Resistant Best Uses: Backcountry, Hiking Describe Yourself: Advanced Chest Size: Feels too small Gear Usage: Late fall backpacking, Winter Sports Sleeve Length: Feels too short Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Nice that it has no extra buttons or zips to snag on backpack straps; I like the zip pockets & built in stuff sack pocket to compress it into a backpack. I have rather long arms, and am small shouldered-- this is a bit snug and short sleeved on me. I wish I'd ordered the next size L even though I usually take a size 6(M). But I think will do very nicely despite the short comings(pun intended).

By Vermont Snowshoeing from Warren, VT on 09/16/2009 Pros: Breathable, Durable, Lightweight, Stylish, Warm Cons: I bought one size larger Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Chest Size: Feels too small Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Will wear snowshoeing. Purchased larger size for sweater layer. Larger size seems ok even without extra layer.
By Ap from Hamden, CT on 07/20/2009 Pros: Breathable, Durable, Lightweight, Stylish, Warm, Waterproof, Wind Resistant Best Uses: Casual Wear, Downhill Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Chest Size: Feels true to size Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living, Winter Sports Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I was really impressed with the jacket because the problem with all my other winter jackets were that they were too big or heavy. I was looking for something that was warm and lightweight at the same time, and I finally found it in this product!
By bea allright from central NJ, by way of Maine on 02/23/2009 Pros: Lightweight, Warm, Wind Resistant Best Uses: Backcountry, Casual Wear, Hiking Describe Yourself: Advanced Chest Size: Feels true to size Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This is an awesome jacket for anything but alpine conditions, and could probably handle them with an extra layer. Great warmth to weight ratio. Nice cut- seems a little large, but just slightly.
