It is so light and warm. I am 5'7" 125 lbs, ordered a M and it fits perfectly.
Fit really, really weirdly By Lookin' for a cozy layer from Durango, CO on 11/11/2008 Cons: Bulky, Irregular Size Sleeve Length: Feels too short Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I was really looking forward to this jacket, but when it arrived in the mail and I tried it on, I knew I'd have to return it. The arms were too short, yet the torso was excessively roomy and the shoulders were ill-fitting. I had a friend try it on who is broader in the shoulders and chest than I am, and it was still weird and roomy on her. The color was cool and it seemed like it would be pretty warm, but I wasn't impressed. I'd reccomend that Sierra Designs redesigns the dimensions of this jacket to fit a normal person who is NOT built like a keg with mini-arms.
By mom from vt on 11/10/2008 Pros: Breathable, Lightweight, Warm, Waterproof, Wind Resistant Describe Yourself: Competitive Athlete Chest Size: Feels true to size Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living, Winter Sports Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Thought it would be more fitted based on the photo, but I am quite slender, so this may be a factor. Kept the jacket though b/c it is so light weight and warm.
By Mo from Sidney, MT on 11/08/2008 Cons: Not Enough Pockets or Features Chest Size: Feels true to size Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living Sleeve Length: Feels too short Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I walk to work, about a 20 minute fast-paced commute. In the winter I need toasty clothing to keep me warm in the frigid, winter wind in eastern Montana. This jacket seems like it will make a good layer (takes several). My only problem is that the sleeves are too short, but that's a typical problem for most clothes I buy unless I go a size up.
By Mary in Portland from Portland, Maine on 11/07/2008 Pros: Breathable, Lightweight Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Chest Size: Feels true to size Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Nice coat, but not as warm as I had hoped. Might work well for layering or cool weather sailing.
Good Jacket, especially for the price By Gear Freak from Boston, MA on 10/27/2008 Pros: Built in stuff sack, Lightweight, Warm, Wind Resistant Best Uses: Backcountry, Campfire cold nights Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Gear Usage: Cold weather camping, Cold Weather Living Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I bought this jacket for occasional use for late fall, early spring camping. I about froze sitting at a campfire in the White Mountains a couple weeks ago, and this jacket will be just the thing to wear around camp after a day of backpacking or canoeing. I'm tall and thin, and usually wear a size 8, and I sometimes buy a 10 for sleeve length. I accidentally ordered this jacket in Large (I had intended to order a Medium), and it fits. It's slightly snug in the upper arms, but there is plenty of room in the torso for extra layers.
By A customer from Wyoming on 04/22/2008 Chest Size: Feels true to size Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This has a snug fit, which was fine for me, except that instead of being fitted at the waist and flaring a bit at the hips, this jacket is fitted at the waist and even MORE fitted at the hips. My hips are not huge, but this jacket looked stretched and bunched at my hips. Not a good look. If you have slim hips, this will be perfect for you

By Cool and Causal from St. Paul, MN on 12/30/2007 Pros: Durable, Lightweight, Warm, Waterproof Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I use this as my second winter coat when the days aren't so cold out or I can layer up underneath to say warm. I order a medium at first and sent it back for a large because it felt too tight in the arms and back.
