I would recommend these pants By Hiker-Golfer from Vail, Colorado on 09/10/2009 Pros: Comfortable, High-Quality Material and Stitching Best Uses: Backpacking, Camping, Casual Wear, Hiking Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Great material and comfort. The zip off legs are great.
Poor design on the riveted waist button. It broke the 1st time I wore them so I had to have it replace.
Comfortable, but cheaply made By JAS from New Hampshire on 06/21/2009 Cons: Poor Material or Construction Best Uses: Backpacking, Camping, Casual Wear, Hiking, Travel Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: The problem with the first pair of these pants that I owned was that the legging zipper malfunctioned after only a couple of weeks of wear. But the pants were a very comfortable cotton/canvas material. Thinking that the zipper problem was a fluke, I bought a replacement pair. The riveted waist button popped off after only two days. Two-in-a-row problems can only be attributed to overall quality problems.
By Dave from Santa Fe, NM on 06/11/2009 Cons: Bulky, Poor Material or Construction Best Uses: Backpacking, Camping Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: These are the second pair of Dolomite pants that I have purchased and the second pair that had a faulty button on the waist. It is a little dissapointing that Gramicci offers a pair of pants that fall appart the first time you put them on.

Lucky for me the front snap comes right off so I can make size 33's from my 32's. I had to sew a button on. If you cannot sew a button on, do not buy these pants!
