The color is poor, and the stones are either all scratched, or broken. Good thing I had not planned on giving this as a gift ...because it would have been an embarrassment.

The markings do not indicate it is gold. It looks like it is silver, it is marked 925 Italy. The item looks nice bit I was disappointed it was not what was described.
