Warm and Fuzzy but runs small By Aging cold weather Athlete from Vermont on 11/07/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Lightweight, Warm Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Chest Size: Feels too small Sleeve Length: Feels too short Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: The static electricity created by this jacket was a deal breaker for me.
Runs smaller then expected. By D from Seattle, WA on 11/07/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Durable, Warm Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Chest Size: Feels too small Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: Thought the size was too small for what was listed.
By Lotus from MD on 10/30/2008 Cons: Tight around the wrists Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels too short Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I ordered a medium, hoping I could layer underneath the fleece. The sleeves are so tight, that's out of the question, but the body is huge. I can't go down a size, because I don't think my arms would fit through. The inside is very soft, but I wasn't that impressed with the warmth. I'm returning mine.
I would never go back to life without By Pig Lady from Gooding and Sun Valley Idaho on 09/18/2008 Pros: Breathable, Durable, Lightweight, Warm, Waterproof, Wind resistent Cons: Pocket fabric wears out Best Uses: Casual Wear, Cold Weather, Extreme Conditions, Hiking and Camping, Wet Weather Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I LOVE my jacket. The soft lining in the sleeves is the GREATEST. I can't hardly stand to wear any other coat because it has the slippery lining in the sleeves and that is just downright cold. I also REALLY LOVE the wind break. The first thing I did when I got it was wear it out in the wind. I couldn't believe how warm I was. I live in Idaho and the wind blows alot at my house. I can't imagine not having one of these coats in my closet.
The only thing is that the fabric for the pockets is quite thin, and mine has big holes. I also wouldn't mind if it was maybe a couple of inches longer, but on the whole it is a fabulous coat.
I wear this coat ALL the time. I go to work at 5 AM and in Idaho in the snow and wind it can be really cold. I wear it to do my chores,as in shoveling snow and feeding horses. When I go out on the boat I really love it for the wind protection. If I snowmachined I bet it would be awesome for that too. Thank goodness I don't go to fancy places very often. Cause the few times that I have and had to wear a dress coat I have had to put a flees jacket on the inside so I didn't freeze to death. That is how spoiled I am with this coat. Thank goodness I have a sister that loves me.
THANKS

By farmergirl from Fort Collins, CO on 08/11/2008 Pros: Breathable, Lightweight, Warm Best Uses: Casual Wear, Cold Weather Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This jacket is very soft, cozy and comfortable. Lightweight and warm. The sleeves may be a bit short for taller women, but I like how it fits me. I'm 5'3" and usually need petite sizes in outerwear because sleeves are way too long (as in covering way beyond my fingertips). I like the "furry" fleece lining, it adds an extra touch of style beyond a regular fleece jacket.

Maybe I'll wear it to lounge around in because it's so comfy. But it's tough too. I love it!
Expecting different Thermal Pro By Dee from Toms Brook, VA on 06/15/2008 Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I will add this to my other jackets that I wear everyday when the weather turns cold, but not cold enough for a heavy winter jacket with a hood.
I expected the outer fabric of the garment to appear different than it is. The inside of the garment is similar to the outside of a Black Diamond jacket(s) that I wear a lot.
I have bought a couple other polartec "Thermal pro" and the fabric appears different. I am a great fan of Polartec. I look for Polartec made by Malden Mills and the garment put together in the U.S.
The jacket looks sportier than I thought. This may be good for some and not so for others just wanting an every-day jacket.
Bottom line. I would recommend this to a friend, but it would only be to a sportier friend. At the sale price, I think it is priced appropriately.
Exactly what I was looking for. I wear it everyday to take the kids to school, out for a walk or layered for snowboarding. Absolutely love it. The inside is incredibly soft.
