By Urban Road Warrior from Southern California on 10/13/2008 Pros: Attractive Design, Warm Best Uses: Daily Use, Going Out Describe Yourself: Casual Dresser Sizing: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This is the perfect vest to wear on cold windy mornings. The WindPro fabric does and excellent job of keeping the wind out. I've also layered the vest under a waterproof shell with excellent results. The vest fabric is sturdier than a typical Polartec vest. The quality, style and fit are all outstanding.

It's excellent quality and stylish.
Feedback in June on a winter vest? By Fred from Utah on 06/23/2008 Pros: Attractive Design, Durable Cons: One way zipper not two Best Uses: Bad Weather, Going Out Describe Yourself: Bargain Shopper Sizing: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Sorry but good feedback will be available in December after I have actually been able to use the vest a few times. Size seems good, fabric feels great and it looks good but it is too hot to try this out yet.

Very pleased with this vest By Healy from Denali Park, Alaska on 04/24/2008 Pros: Attractive Design, Durable, Good Cut, Lightweight, Versatile, Warm Best Uses: Bad Weather, Daily Use, Travel Sizing: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I am very satisfied with this vest. It is stylish, very functional, well made of good materials, also thicker and warmer than most vests on the market. I really like the pockets, as there is a zippered chest pocket, two outside zippered handwarmer pockets, and what wasn't stated in the ad, there are two large, unzippered inside pockets which are great for storing a light pair of gloves and a hat. I wear it all the time, and is perfect for layering on colder days, which are common here in central Alaska. Plus it is refreshing to get a good product at a very reasonable price that is made in the USA.
By C-T-Walker from LONDON,ENGLAND. on 03/23/2008 Pros: Attractive Design, Durable, Good Cut, Versatile, Warm Best Uses: Bad Weather, Daily Use Sizing: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This is a really good comfortable fleece vest and I've tried many. Very well finished, smart and comfortably styled. Practical cut permits collar up or down properly. Welcome long shirt tail cut enhances warmth. Last but not least; has the flag on the tag "MADE IN U.S.A."
Nice material, poor construction By HighandDry from Logan, UT on 03/19/2008 Pros: Attractive Design, Warm Describe Yourself: Outdoor Enthusiast Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: Surprisingly low quality for Black Diamond. The material is the best available, but the construction was very poor. The zipper was sewn in crooked. Numerous threads hang from every seam. Stitching along the zipper is already coming loose. Top of zipper was not correctly trimmed- a sharp edge was left that will pull your beard or scratch your face. Sizing is for the overweight American, not the active individual. Usually I use a vest for layering- this vest actually fits over my coat better than under. Extremely disappointed, as I have purchased several BD zip fleeces in the past and they have all been top of the line in quality, construction, and fit.
Overall: ok for wearing around, but too bulky for outside use. order smaller size if the other construction issues aren't important to you.
By mpb4628 from San Pedro, California on 03/11/2008 Pros: Attractive Design, Durable, Good Cut, Warm Best Uses: Bad Weather, Yacht Racing Describe Yourself: Bargain Shopper Sizing: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Superor produt exceptionally well made... I use the vest while sailing in cool weather and at night. Works extremely well under gore tex foul weather gear. Most sailing fleece is too thin and not very durable this vest, however, is the cats meow for yacht racing; durable, weather resistant and warm!
