Warm, when the wind isn't too strong By Multi-mode User from Kansas City on 12/14/2007 Pros: Attractive Design, Versatile, Warm Describe Yourself: Bargain Shopper, High-end shopper Sizing: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I was looking for a versatile fleece jacket to wear to work when it is cold out (20 - 40 deg. F) but didn't want to bust out my hard shell. This fulfills the role. It stops a light wind and retains heat well.
It makes a great daily wear jacket as long as the wind isn't blowing hard. If you're generating some heat, this is fantastic.
I wore it throughout our last ice storm and was surprised at how well it dealt with moisture, but it's not a shell. It also makes a fantastic mid layer.
Nice, thick fleece. Go WindPro! By Long Tom from Layton, UT on 12/12/2007 Pros: Durable, Versatile, Warm Best Uses: Active sports, Daily Use, Layering, Light Snow Describe Yourself: Bargain Shopper, Outdoor professional Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: WindPro is great stuff, good for layering but suitable on it's own until the weather gets nasty, great for the snow. Much higher breathability than fleece laminates. This jacket is THICK, and it is not the hard faced windpro but has a soft exterior that is supposed to dry faster if it does get wet. I am 6'2'' and 150 lbs, the chest and arm width are rather large on me but it is still comfortable, the chest on the Medium is 45 inches.
By BJK from Bristol, CT on 12/11/2007 Pros: Good Cut, Lightweight, Warm Cons: Poorsmall zippers, Stitching poor in places Best Uses: Bad Weather, Daily Use Describe Yourself: Bargain Shopper, Casual Sizing: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Overall nice material; you can't beat polartec fleece. Very warm and wearable.
My only beefs with this are the poor, undersized zippers (feels like they'll break right away) and a couple places where stiching was a bit shoddy.

like having two layers in one By the dragon lady from northern AZ on 12/07/2007 Pros: Durable, Good Cut, Versatile, Warm Cons: Bulky, no two way zipper Best Uses: Bad Weather, Daily Use, Going Out, Travel Describe Yourself: Bargain Shopper, Casual Sizing: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Wish this had a two way zipper. It takes up alot of room in the daypack but is great for cutting the wind without adding an extra layer. It is supposed to be water resistant but suspect it couldn't withstand a hard, steady rain, time will tell on that. Seems well made which is good because I trollize my hiking gear.
