By Tony from Fredericksburg VA on 03/16/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Dries Quickly, Durable Cons: Hard To Put On Or Take Off Best Uses: Boating, Colder Water, Paddling Describe Yourself: Enthusiast Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I bought this semi-dry top for dual use purposes... one being sea kayaking the other jetty fishing. In both scenarios this top provides a rubber (neoprene) like seal around the neck and hands. The seal is tight and makes the pullover more challenging then usual to get on or off. However that's exactly what you want with this type of gear. The range of motion for arms paddling or casting / fishing is excellent. Get the next size up from your normal shirt size ... I wear a large (or large tall) and got the extra large size ... this made for a good fit for me. A good piece of gear.
By Jen the Swimmer from Chicago, IL on 03/08/2009 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Dries Quickly, Durable Cons: Hard To Put On Or Take Off Best Uses: Colder Water, Paddling Describe Yourself: Casual Athlete Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Used this whitewater kayaking- Kept me dry, fitted well for ease of movement. Wrist gaskets are a bit tight which makes it difficult to get on and off. Other than that, great product- I would buy it again.

By River Runner from Chicago, IL on 02/28/2009 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Dries Quickly Cons: Hard To Put On Or Take Off Best Uses: Colder Water, Paddling Describe Yourself: Casual Athlete Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Bought 2 of these (S and L) for my husband and myself. The Large fits my husband great and is easy for him to get on and off. The Small is great for me but the wrist gaskets are extremely tight (and I have tiny wrists!) I actually needed help to get my hands out. Aside from that, these are great dry tops. We tested them out at a park and play this week in a torrential downpour and kept completely dry- luckily neither of us swam! For the price, these can't be beat.
By Kayak birder from SE Pa on 01/02/2009 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Dries Quickly, Durable Best Uses: Colder Water, Paddling Describe Yourself: Enthusiast Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I got this because of ExtraSports reputation as a quality manufacturer and the fact that a total dry suit is not in my budget. I have spoken to some people who hate dry suits and prefer wetsuits in combinatioin with other paddling gear. I thought at least semi dry was better than nothing and at this price, it was more than worth it.
By GlockGuy from Suffolk, VA on 12/30/2008 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Super dry Cons: Hard To Put On Or Take Off Best Uses: Colder Water, Fishing, Paddling Describe Yourself: Casual Athlete Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: The name is misleading - This is a seriously dry top. It is a tad difficult to don and doff due to the seals in the cuffs, but that is what makes it so dry! The neck seal is comfy. I ordered a much larger size so that I can layer below it and have plenty of room to move.
Good Entry level semi dry top By wavekayaker from the dirty south on 11/07/2008 Pros: Dries Quickly, Easy To Put On And Take Off Best Uses: Colder Water, Paddling Describe Yourself: Enthusiast Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Neck gasket takes a bit of fiddling to dial in, but once you figure it out, its a good seal.
By dadburnet from Illinois on 09/11/2008 Cons: Buy larger size, Runs small Describe Yourself: Enthusiast Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Buy one size larger or even two if you're layering!
By Bren from NJ on 09/05/2008 Describe Yourself: Enthusiast Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Much more comfortable than a regular gasket at the neck. It leaks a little but well worth the sacrifice for the comfort.
