The best thing about this shoe is the multi-fit sole that works for narrow, medium, and wide widths. Really great if both feet aren't exactly the same.

By Jazzbo from Lompoc, CA on 03/02/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Durable, Stylish Best Uses: Day hikes, Everyday Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: These boots felt comfortable right out of the box, though slightly loose. I switched to the thicker sole inserts that came with the package and they fit perfectly. Though I haven't worn the boots for very long, I have been pleasantly surprised with their comfort, style and apparent durability ... they are well constructed. I now put Timberland up there with New Balance and Rockport for shoes that you can depend on for superior quality.
