A bit of variety for my closet of Birks By Lorelai Gilmore's Hippie Cousin from Lexington, KY on 07/01/2008 Pros: Breathable, Cute, Stable Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I have a slightly high arch and the top of my foot bone angles up a lot, so these pinched a bit on top with first wear, although it's fine now. Also have very narrow feet, and yet these fit me fine in width while my other Earth shoes are too wide (mary janes I wear with thick socks.)
I got Earth shoes because I noticed a few years ago that I am actually leaning forward when I think I'm standing straight; Earth shoes help correct that.
So I love these shoes, but would not recommend them to my wide-footed sister and mother, or anyone who would be weirded out by the "negative heel."
Felt like they were made for my feet! By Shekyla from Albuquerque, NM on 06/30/2008 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Stable Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This is my first pair of Earth shoes and I'm SOLD! I've heard of them for years and all I knew was they were pricey. Then I heard about their health benefits and when I found them at STP for half price I thought I'd try them. The first time I put them on it felt like they were made for my feet! No breaking in time, just pure comfort.I think they do help with back problems since I haven't had all the usual aches and pains. I wish they had more clog styles, that's what I wear in winter, but I'll certainly be getting another pair in the near future!
Love these----do need some "break-in" ti By Dr J from Tampa, FL on 06/27/2008 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Stable Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I need a shoe with good support as I normally wear orthotics; but I wanted a summer shoe to wear to work with skirts.

I wish they made a regular shoe with everything but lower back. ty
By Girl Friday from Auburn Hills, MI on 06/21/2008 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Cute, Durable, Stable Best Uses: Barbecues, Travel Describe Yourself: Casual, Conservative, Stylish Sizing: Feels half size too big Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Doesn't take any effort to keep these sandals on your feet. They are a bit snugger than a standard medium width but that made them perfect for me.
These shoes are amazingly comfortable an By Mo Mo from Vancouver, WA on 06/19/2008 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Cute, Durable, Stable Best Uses: Casual Friday at work, On the go Describe Yourself: Stylish, Trendy Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I have worn my Earth shoes with capris and jeans to work on Fridays, to the baseball field to watch my son's game, and out and about onthe weekend. They are so comfortable and I receive many compliments about how cute they are. I love them!
I would buy this product again By ma sharon from florence, ms on 06/18/2008 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Cute, Durable, Stable, the best shoe you can buy Describe Yourself: Casual, Conservative, Stylish, Trendy Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: These are very comfortable. I would like to have a black pair. Everyone wants to try them on :)
By Ame from Colorado Springs, Colo. on 06/18/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Durable, Stable Best Uses: Around the house Describe Yourself: Casual, Stylish Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: These are super-easy to slip on, which was what I wanted for around the house. They are comfortable, but not quite as much as I had hoped. Still, they will be useful for summer. They are a little too "earthy" to be stylish for wearing out, but could be in a pinch. They are nicely made.
Not my favorites, but keeping By Beat the heat in Texas from Frisco, Texas on 06/18/2008 Pros: Cute, Durable, Stable, Well made Best Uses: Barbecues, Errands, Travel Sizing: Feels half size too small Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I ordered down based on other comments, but think ordering half a size up would have been better. I am a solid 8 with narrow to medium width feet. I have found my other Earth shoes to stretch so time will tell. I like Earth shoes and feel they are good for my feet, legs and posture so there you go!
By Sensitive feet from Boston, MA on 06/15/2008 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Cute, Durable, Stable Best Uses: Barbecues, Beach, Travel Describe Yourself: Alternative, Casual, Conservative, Stylish Sizing: Feels half size too big Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I took the advice and ordered a half size down, which was correct. At first I didn't think so, the sandals felt small and tight and I was worried. Then they became comfortable. Then they became too comfortable. And then they stretched almost too much. I'm still wearing them but I probably won't be taking long walks in them because they may slip off. (I usually wear size 8 and ordered 7.5. In boots, I wear 8.5.)
Keep in mind that the soles of the shoes are light, not dark. (see Zappos). This gives fresh look, but it isn't what you'll see on other sites selling Earth shoes. I would suggest these shoes, with a note -- they stretch.
