They fit my build really well. I am 5'5''. 118 pounds and am fairly short waisted. I like that they sit below the waist as high rise bunches over my stomach when I sit. They are also not too low (I am 57 and have had 2 children...)I like that they can be shorter or longer. I prefer shorter. My legs are fairly thin, but don't look too thin as the shorts leg is not too wide.

As to the length, they're really not junior cut, especially if you unroll them. I'm 40 years old, and I find the style very flattering.

My only objection, which is not the fault of the shorts, is that I'm kind of between sizes, but have been losing weight so they'll probably fit great in a couple of weeks.

The fit is perfect. I have a very straight "bottom half" my waist and hips are not too different so these work well.
