I would reccommend them if they were being used for outdoor activity. I haven't used tried them out for rock climbing yet, but I think they will be good. I ordered one size up and they fit well, just a tad too big. The fabric is nice, could be thicker.

I wanted something that would be comfortable, lightweight and have some style. These were great. They are really cute for the beach and took up very little space in my bag. I was able to wash them out in the hotel room sink, and hang them up to dry quickly without wrinkles. They were great.

The fabric is very nice, lightweight, and should wash and dry in a flash. It is also a good compromise between very casual cargo-style pants, and dress capris. The size, however, is much too large and I returned mine for one size smaller which I am hoping are a better fit.
