The inside has an egg crate feel to it. I bought these in my normal size and had to send them back and get one half size bigger. I love these shoes

I absolutely love it. It is not the most "woman" type of shoe and it looks a bit like slippers but most shoes/boots nowadays do. I don't know how fast these will wear out because they are made from earth friendly products but I still love them. They are a bit wide but don't slide off the foot or anything. Not really a pair of shoes I would wear without pants so it is great it is fall/winter.
I live in the Pac NW so it rains and I have worn these in the rain but my foot doesn't get soaked or anything. So far so great!

However, I did need to put bandaids on the backs of my ankles because the shoes were stiff and rubbed.
