They were also very slick on the bottom. I found a better shoe and returned these ones.

I am not sure I will be able to exchange for smaller size, since they are almost gone in one size smaller. The brown color is beautiful. The style is lovely.

The threads are a light green, so I plan on using shoe polish to change the color of the thread to match the shoes.
