I like the unexpected combo of the cute strappy top and the sporty sole. They do require q breaking in period, especially the leather around the top of the foot. I anticipate them being very comfortable now that that is done. These are casual enough for daily wear with skirts, etc, but can look more dressy if needed.

I wouldn't walk several blocks in them--I find myself concentrating on keep them on my feet--but around the office, at get-togethers, walking short distances, they should be fine. They're comfortable overall (you can rely on J-41 for comfort) and very attractive.

I am so glad I bought these! I ordered both colors - black and brown. :) Usually wear a 9.5, but ordered 9's from previous sandal experience...perfect fit. I wore one pair on Thursday, and the other on Friday - I'm grateful for the squishy/memory-foam type soles these have. :) Makes long days on my feet easier. And I still looked dressy. Perfect addition to my business casual wardrobe!!

I refuse to wear uncomfortable shoes now that I am a more sensible, "mature" woman compared to my younger days but I don't want to dress like my grandmother either :). I have another pair of J-41s (Mary Janes) that I also love. These sandals were a little big so I had to order a half size smaller, but my other pair is true to size, so maybe it's just because of the open sandal style. I always get asked about both pairs whenever I wear them - great brand for unique, stylish, comfortable shoes.

The sandals forced your ankles outward. Shoes also didn't stay on, though the length was about right.

The Hanna Mules stay on my feet amazingly well, especially for flat mules. They are my new favorite shoe. These are more like Barbie doll shoe uppers on a heavy, but cushy sole. The thin strips along the edges of the too soft center band that is supposed to hold your foot did nothing. I felt like a little girl wearing my mom's shoes for dress up. Not cute enough for the hazards of wearing them.
