By Lady of Perpetually Cold Feet from Chambersburg, PA on 02/01/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Easy Entry & Exit, Good Traction, Warm, Waterproof Best Uses: Cold Weather, DAILY USE, Snow, Wet Conditions Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: NOT really "wide" at all. Runs approx. a size small. Mine seemed stiff, but after about 6 uses, they're my "go-to-shoe" every day!! Mostly I wear no socks and am warm outside in the 20's for hours!!! I use the side zip for entry and exit and can't say enough about how easy that makes it:) I want more of these and in brown for sure. (Washable insoles, too.) I GET COMPLIMENTS & INQUIRIES EACH TIME I WEAR THESE - FROM MEN AND WOMEN BOTH. Leather is QUALITY and LOVELY!!
By Mel from Ohio on 01/27/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Easy Entry & Exit, Warm, Waterproof Best Uses: Cold Weather, Wet Conditions Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: These are great boots for snowy work days... they look good with casual office wear, are easy to get in and out of if I want to change to heels at the office, and they are quite warm. These are not the boots to wear while shoveling or doing lots of winter hiking or activities because they are ankle booths. They are a bit heavy, but are comfy. I usually wear a 5 1/2 or 6, ordered a 7. They fit perfectly with just enough room for a warm pair of socks. Definitely order a size up.

By me from Rochester, New York on 01/07/2009 Pros: Breathable, Easy Entry & Exit, Good Traction, Warm, Waterproof Cons: Back rubs against my heel Best Uses: Cold Weather, Slippery Terrain, Snow, Wet Conditions Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Ordered a wide, even though my foot is not wide and fit is good with winter weight socks. Hope they loosen up as the back feels high against my heel as isn't as comfortable as I'd prefer.

By Kat from Brisbane, Australia on 08/09/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Easy Entry & Exit, Good Traction, Lightweight, Warm, Waterproof Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Gear Usage: Vacation in Britain Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Living in the sub-tropics I didn't expect to get a lot of wear from these boots but thought they would be perfect for visiting cooler climates. With the 100% wool liner they are actually not too hot on our colder days. I usually take size 6.5 but after reading reviews went for the 7.5W. Fit snugly with thin socks.
