They were comfortable from day one. When they finally wore out, the search was on for a replacement. Fortunately you still carry them and I bought 2 pairs. I wears them daily.

Sewing there seemed insufficient to hold these together. Too bad. In the process of returning them now to STP.

Maybe I just got a bum pair. I also found that the straps chafed a bit on my pinky toe.

These Sperry sandals are the only sandals I've ever owned that provide excellent footing on a wet, pitching deck, thanks to the secure, adjustable fit and razor-siped soles. The soft leather uppers are "dressier" than most sandals and they dry very quickly after repeated salt water soakings.
