The size is on the small side. I usually wear small size, for this one, I got a medium---very comfortable.

I usually wear a small and order a medium if I'm going to layer. I ordered both. The small was too small to wear and the medium fit like a small. The sleeves are too long, but you can fold the fur cuff back and it stays there, so that's ok. Good news: great fabric - heavier than other softshells. Great design - the hood is very warm and cute. Very versatile - the fur dresses it up so you could wear it to work, but the fabric is appropriate for skiing, hiking, etc. I want to wear it all the time. Once you get the right size, it's wonderful!

Excellent for the northwest coastal weather.

However when I tried it on, the lined hood is too heavy when it's hanging behind my neck, and it feels too bulky when I use it. The sleeves fit well, but there was too much space on the upper back. I'm really surprised because Marmot's size XS Gravity jacket is a perfect (tight) fit for me. Too bad this jacket isn't for me, and I had to return it.

It is the only outdoor women's product that fits me perfectly. However, the 2007 jacket fit too tight and didn't look good. The 2008 looks much better and it fits loose. Tapering at the waist would be better.
