Wore them around the house to stretch them and they stretch quickly and feel good. No bunion, hammer toe pain- now that is a bonus! I normally don't tolerate heels, but the thicker sole and reasonable heel make these ideal. Haven't worn them out yet, but can't wait to throw them on with a skirt to show them off and love them! What a great deal and a pair of boots to last for years and years to come. The kind you love for the way they shape your foot over the years and only get resoled because you can't part with them. Worth the buy.

They slide on easily and reach to the knee- they look great with tights and are comfortable. I usually wear an 8.5 but ordered the nine. the left boot was way too big and the right a little big. I sent them back and got my usual 8.5 and they are perfect. That is my usual size for Frye and Ariat so these do run true to size.

I got these boots; they are really beautiful. I put one on-- it slipped right on and fit perfectly. I ran to the mirror to look. Wow! Great! I went to put the other one on-- I could not get it on my foot. The instep on the second one was much tighter- like it was a cutting mistake from the factory. Not only that, but it was evident that someone else had tried to force it on her foot and broken down the structure of the heel inside, I was adamant to get it on.. used a plastic bag, tried stretching it with things; finally I was able to make a shoehorn out of some stiff cardboard and jammed my foot in slowly but steadily until I got it on. It fit perfectly, too. They are fabulous!: however, I don't recommend them. ;}

The right one is a little tighter in the calf than the left one but that could be my legs. I'm wearing them in the house and it's loosening up. I love the way they feel and look. They're very tall on me...right below my knees...and I'm 5-6.5. The leather has a distressed look so if you're looking for shiny and perfect, this isn't it. Great boots!

This is not a boot that you could use for work as well as play. I needed a boot that would do double duty. My work place is semi-casual but thse boots would not convey professionalism. I might have still kept them but I could get only one boot on. I couldn't even get my foot down into the other one. I've never had this problem before and have owned several pull on boots. Too bad - the one I got on really looked great!

The shape is much nicer than the photo indicates, and they fit my large calves - those with slimmer legs could easily tuck jeans into them and they'd look great. I've coveted a pair of tall Frye boots for ages and the price was right. Very high quality construction - these are not "dainty" boots. I get compliments every time I wear them.
