Alas I was severely disappointed!! The suede was rough and hard with large patches where the "nap" of the suede was scraped off and the leather was ugly and bare. Also a section of the fringe that runs up the side was missing 8 tabs. I have sent them back with the reason being a defective item. I hope that this is not the quality of all Frye items here at Sierra Trading Post. These were seconds at best.

I ordered a half size smaller than my normal shoe size, and they fit well after a couple of wearings. They do have a really tall shaft; I usually wear a 31" pants inseam, and they are almost to the back of my knee.

Both fit so will keep smaller size for work, dressy-casual, wearing tights, and larger size for thick socks and knocking around town.
