By sc from South Carolina on 10/13/2009 Pros: Attractive Design, Comfortable, Lightweight Best Uses: Daily Use, Going Out, Travel Describe Yourself: Classic Dresser Sizing: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Good jacket, lightweight and not likely to be sufficient in cold weather. The lining is a little feminine but goes with the jacket color. It is also not as finished as other barbours, but it will be a good casual jacket at things like oyster roasts and football games.
By Michael godwin from south carolina on 08/31/2009 Pros: Attractive Design, Durable, Good Cut, Lightweight, Versatile, Warm Best Uses: Daily Use, Outdoor Activities, Travel Describe Yourself: Casual Dresser Sizing: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: A Real Barbour Jacket.. Nice Price for a quality jacket. Bought this
one for a spare at this price or may give it to someone as a gift.
Either way, if you look at barbours website..these jackets go
for alot more and you get the same jacket!!
A perfect addition to waxed Barbours By Windy City from Chicago, IL on 08/30/2009 Pros: Attractive Design, Comfortable, Durable, Good Cut, Lightweight Best Uses: Daily Use, Travel Describe Yourself: Casual Dresser Sizing: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Was very pleased when I received this coat. It is everything as advertised. Very light and soft. A perfect addition to my waxed Barbours for warmer days.
By Hillside Bill from Trinidad, CO on 08/28/2009 Pros: Attractive Design, Good Cut, Lightweight, Warm Best Uses: Outdoor Activities, Travel Describe Yourself: Casual Dresser Sizing: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels too long Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Will use in fall and spring for outdoors and casual activities.
Is useful for CCW holders - not a soft, clingy fabric.
By GA Tiger from Georgia on 08/25/2009 Pros: Attractive Design, Good Cut, Lightweight, Versatile Best Uses: Outdoor Activities Describe Yourself: Casual Dresser Sizing: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This is a nice coat. Typical of Barbour, it has the pouch pockets found on waxed cotton Barbour coats and the zipper and snaps are similar to the more expensive coats. Being a canvas coat, it is not as finished as other Barbour products, but it will look great with chinos or jeans. The lining is shirt weight cotton cloth, and the coat will provide little warmth. It will be good for cool days and will work well with layering a shirt and sweater.
not near as good as Made in England By foppy from Boston suburb on 08/25/2009 Sizing: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: Seemed flimsy, unlike the Barbour coats made in England I've seen. I think the outside-UK-made Barbours sold here should not be seen as plausible versions of the Made-in-England stuff. The lining was an ugly purplish plaid. Also, I ordered "Dark Brown" and was sent something marked "Olive," a deep green. Not bad, but not what I ordered. Not sure if item was mismarked or if Olive just translates to Dark Brown. [...]!
Great jacket -- just too small. By Major Ted from St. Paul, MN on 07/07/2009 Pros: Attractive Design, Durable Cons: Poor Fit, Too small Returned Describe Yourself: Casual Dresser Sleeve Length: Feels too short Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Medium jacket was too small. Returned. No Large size available.
By JE from Clarksville ,Tn. on 06/08/2009 Pros: Durable, Good Cut, Versatile Best Uses: Daily Use, Outdoor Activities, Travel Describe Yourself: Casual Dresser Sizing: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: In Tennessee this will be a three season coat. It is cut large enough to layer under it and is appropriate without layering for cool Spring days or nippy Fall days. Typical Barbour quality without some of the extras.
By Brady in Oklahoma from Oklahoma City, OK on 05/13/2009 Pros: Attractive Design, Durable, Good Cut, Versatile Best Uses: Daily Use, Outdoor Activities, Travel Describe Yourself: Classic Dresser Sizing: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This jacket has a very nice appearance and good cut. Unfortunately, I purchased it at the end of the season so I don't have much practical experience, but it appears to be a medium-weight coat which should be versatile. Ask me next winter.
